Rock Brook performed MEP/FP and IT/Security design and construction administration services for renovations to several existing pharmacies and a new 3,445 SF pharmacy at CHOP at their main campus and other outpatient facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The project includes selective modifications to bring areas utilizing sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling into USP 797/800 compliance. The project included the specification of HVAC equipment, as well as other fixtures and devices appropriate for ISO 7 and 8 cleanrooms. Rock Brook assisted in the phasing to ensure operations remained uninterrupted in the existing pharmacies, in addition to supporting the facility’s overall infrastructure maintenance operations for the opening of the new pharmacy space.
